The Sweepstakes is open to All-Breeds who are 6 months & under 18 months of age on the day of the
show. Dogs shown in the Sweepstakes MUST ALSO BE entered in a Regular Classes at the regular entry
fee and on the regular entry form. No Champions of Record are eligible to be entered in Sweepstakes.
All-Breed Sweepstakes will be judged separately from Regular Classes in a separate ring. Indicate
Sweepstakes and age division on the regular entry form under “Additional Classes.” Entry fee is $30.00.
Classification - Each Breed/Variety
10100- Puppy Dogs, 10900- 6 months & under 9 months
10100- Puppy Dogs, 11000- 9 months & under 12 months
10200- Junior Dogs, 11100- 12 months & under 18 months
(Same Classes for Bitches)
Prize Money
35% of total Sweepstakes entry fees will be retained by the Skokie Valley Kennel Club, Inc., for expenses.
The remaining 65% will be considered the stake:
Best in Sweepstakes - 60%
60% of the stake will be awarded to each Best in Sweepstakes winner at the Best of Breed/Variety level.
Actual amount to be determined based on the number of entries per breed/variety (A breed with 10
entries will receive 10 times the amount than a breed/variety with one entry). 40% of the stake will be
awarded to Grand Sweepstakes Winner & First through Fourth in Each Sweepstakes Group as follows:
Grand Sweepstakes Winner - 15.5%
Group 1 - 8% Group 2 - 6.75% Group 3 - 5.5% Group 4 - 4.25%

be announced in the Judging Program each day. There are no AKC Championship Points associated with
Sweepstakes.
